Clear Eyes ACR is a sterile, isotonic buffered solution containing the active ingredients naphazoline hydrochloride (0.012%), zinc sulfate (0.25%) and glycerin (0.2%). It also contains boric acid, purified water, sodium chloride and sodium citrate. Edetate disodium and benzalkonium chloride are added as preservatives. Clear Eyes® ACR has three active ingredients: (1) astringent to help clear mucus from the outer surface of the eye, (2) vasoconstrictor to remove redness, and (3) demulcent to protect and moisturize dry irritated eyes. Clear Eyes ACR contains laboratory-tested and scientifically blended ingredients to soothe eyes, including an effective vasoconstrictor to narrow swollen blood vessels and rapidly whiten reddened eyes, and a lubricant to moisturize dry eyes. Clear Eyes ACR also contains an ocular astringent (zinc sulfate) that helps clear mucus from the outer surface of the eye by precipitating the sticky mucus buildup on the eye often associated with exposure to pollen, dust and smoke. Clear Eyes ACR is a sterile, isotonic solution compatible with the natural fluids of the eye.
